What platforms will you publish my game on?
We publish on Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store and also on console* if applicable such as PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo through our partners.
I am a solo developer, is this good for me?
Of course! We love working with solo developers and lead them into the right way. We understand how difficult it can be to start making your first steps, so we are here to make them with you. Don't hesitate to show us your game!
What is Mascot Bro Studio share model?
Unlike many publishers who take a majority of the revenue, we believe in a fair revenue profit share. We are willing to negotiate a per-game bases (depending on the complexity, type etc) but we only take 40% profit share, ensuring that developers receive their fair share of the earnings.
Why would I need a publisher?
Access to platforms and regions: Publishers can get your game into places that wouldn't necessarily listen to you as a small indie, for example. This is also true in the case of the more complex territories.
Marketing: We will be doing marketing channels, reach more press outlets and what not to promote your game all from our own budget.We also work with platform holders and can get games featured, special promotions and opportunities.
Porting: Porting can take a lot of time, specially if you are porting to a platform you're unfamiliar with. Having a publisher do the work for you can free you to concentrate on other tasks, or work on a new project while we do that for you.
Investing: We are willing to invest in your projects, promote your game and do all the necessary QA testing to have a solid launch without you paying anything up-front.
Access to multiple influencers, game press website and more: We will run a whole campaing dedicated to your game where we will promote it, share it with our influencers, youtubers, game news press websites and much more to get it known!
Basically we handle the creation of hyping a game up, release management, store management, marketing financing, porting, analytics, distribution, and licensing. We collaborate with developers every step of the way, and transparency is key for us!
Do you accept specific games?
At the moment we are only accepting games which are seen as Mascot / cartoon style / horror - but do feel free to submit your game and we can take a look to check it out and see if it's eligible!
What will happen after I submit a game?
We will review your game in around a few days and get back to you. No legal obligations arise until we both agree to sign an agreement for each game.
Will you provide reports for the game?
of course! We provide detailed reports at the end of each month with how many sales your game got, wishlists and revenue analytics.
Do I have to pay anything if I get accepted?
NO! Of course not. If your game gets accepted and we will be in a partnership, you don't have to pay for anything - all investments are from our end. We will promote, market and get your game seen by many more people all from our own money. We only work with revenue-share % model once the game starts earning and never ask you for any upfront cost or hidden fees!
Do you take any IPs? Will I still own the game?
You will forever own your own game as that is your creation! No, we don't take any IPs. You will always own the game yourself and we never take your IP. We are just in a partnership to make your game more successful and let us focus on the hard and tedious work of publishing the game, while you focus on just the development!
